Cambridge Central Mosque with Geometry Nodes
Apr 02, 2023Tutorial here: https://youtu.be/0VSxDgScFFo
In this session we took on creating the timber columns in Cambridge Central Mosque by Marks Barkfield Architects.
It's fairly technical but also not a lot of moving parts here. I absolutely love the design, it's very mathematical and the way it flows from ceiling to column is super satifying.
As always, once you've made a system like this, the options are endless!
Had fun learning to use GarageFarm.NET with this lesson. Huge thanks to them for sponsoring the video. If you're interested in getting $50 free rendering credits (and 33% discount for Blender renders) follow this link: GarageFarm.NET
Hope you enjoy the (slightly long) session!
If you have any ideas for buildings that would make a good lesson, let me know. I'm always on the lookout for new exercises!
